I know I probably say this every month, but can you believe it’s December already? As i’m writing this post I have so many festive feels, I really love this time of year.
To kick off my first post in December, I thought I’d do a Christmassy blog post, so today’s is going to be ideas for Christmas stocking stuffers. I love the idea of having little gifts in stocking stuffers, but I want to make sure the things I pick out will be useable and appreciated. In this post I’m sharing with you some affordable stocking stuffer ideas.
I’m sure some of you are aware that I change my nail colour almost every week, so I would most definitely appreciate it if someone put nail polishes in my stocking. I recently picked up ‘Twinkle Twinkle’ by Barry M and ‘Rose Gold Glitter #52’ by Accessorize as these are the colours I’ve been looking for and I think they’re lovely for this time of year. Barry M has been one of my favourite brands for nail polish for a long time, as I find that the nail polish last for a long time and they just apply really well. I’ve tried a few accessorize nail polishes and I have really been liking them, I find in particular that they have really unique colour choices.
Badged denim is really ‘in’ at the moment, but I like the idea of being able to customise your own denim because I think it makes it that much more personal. These fashion pins are a really good idea as you can put them on and take them off easily. I couldn’t find these exact ones from Ainsel London online but I have linked an alternative option here. These would be so ideal for people who like DIY fashion.
This Seventeen lip palette recently made it into my make up collection and I honestly think it’s genius. There is such a good selection of shades which are great for creating different lip combinations as well as ombre lips. This particular palette is in ‘Woo Me’ and it comes with a range of colours all with a satin finish from a bright orange, to a deep red and even includes light shimmery colours. I think this is perfect for a girl that’s on the go as it also comes with a lip brush and a mirror. There are other different palettes with different shades so you can pick the one that most suits the person who you would give this to.
If you know someone who’s into nude lip colours, this is the most perfect set of nude liquid lipsticks ever. As soon as I saw these I knew I would absolutely love them. These liquid lipsticks are long lasting and highly pigmented I just can’t recommend them enough. These are more on the glossy side as opposed to matte which I think is the reason why they are more comfortable to wear than a lot of other liquid lipsticks. They do have other sets with different colour variations if you’re looking for something for someone who prefers a bolder lip.
My go to brand of eyelashes at the moment are the strip lashes from Nouveau Lashes*. I’ve tried a few brands of eyelashes from boots and super drugs but I really feel like nothing compares to the Nouveau Lashes ones. They are lightweight, the band is clear and pretty much invisible, and they are cruelty free/vegan. Each pair of lashes comes with a small glue adhesive which really helps to hold the eyelashes in place. There are so many different styles, there’s bound to be something for everyone!
I know so many people that would go crazy over candles, and I don’t blame them, they smell so good and just give off a warm, relaxing vibe. The sampler votive candles from Yankee Candles are so cute and perfect to put in a Christmas stocking. There is such a range of scents, and they even have Christmas scented ones which smell like an absolute dream.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this post. Let me know what you would love to give or receive in your stockings.
