If theres one thing 2018 taught me, it’s to expect the unexpected. This time last year I welcomed 2018, all glammed up ready for the year. Little did I know that 13 days later I’d be saying goodbye to my Grandad and 3 months later to my Grandma. So whilst it may have been my worse year ever, i did have some highs; for example starting a new job which I love, making new friends. I didn’t expect to change jobs last year but again, it was an unexpected opportunity which I took.
It’s that time of year where people look at all their achievements and set resolutions for the coming year. I used to set myself new years resolutions every year but if i’m being really honest i’ve never really stuck to them. I do have goals that I want to achieve this year, but I guess for me i’ve realised that slow and steady wins the race rather than diving right in and not actually achieving anything.
This year I want to be more organised, more consistent (especially with my blog) and more focused on my goals. I also want to be more confident and do things out of my comfort zone. Whilst I have nothing major planned yet this year, I excited for the year to come.
I hope you have a wonderful, happy, successful year ahead.
Happy New Year!
Sonam xx
