It contains a variety of vitamins, minerals and omega oils for anti-ageing, anti-inflammatory for glowy skin. With claims that it is loved by the Royals, is it worth the £42 price tag?
The first thing I noticed is the beautiful bottle. It’s a small, lightweight glass bottle containing 30ml of product, which makes it perfect for travelling. It has a pump to dispense the product and I found that it’s quite controlled and doesn’t dispense too much product at a time.
The formula of this oil really surprised me as it is quite thin in consistency compared to similar products i’ve tried. It also doesn’t have that oily smell to it. It sinks into the skin really well and doesn’t leave a greasy residue like other oils I’ve tried in the past. This is really important for me as I have an oily t-zone and so I avoid anything that makes my skin more oily.
As mentioned the consistency of this elixir is quite thin which means it’s perfect to mix in with foundation to give your skin a glow. I’ve tried this with other oil based products and it makes me super oily but as it’s so lightweight, I don’t have any problems with mixing it into a skin base.
I mostly use it once a day in my night time routine before I use any serums or moisturisers. In the winter I get dry patches so I concentrate the elixir in those areas, however in the summer I would probably reduce it to once every other day.
I’ve been using this product for over a month now and have noticed that the texture of my skin has improved significantly, and my skin has been a lot calmer in terms of breakouts. It definitely leaves a nice natural glow when applied to the skin without making my skin look too greasy.
As for the price, I know it is on the expensive side but I do believe it’s worth it. You get a good amount of product and a little goes a long way. Most importantly for me, it uses natural ingredients as I really don’t like putting harsh chemicals on my skin.
