At the beginning of the year, I promised myself I’d save a lot more this year but if i’m being honest I don’t know how well this is going to go. There are already so many beauty products on my wishlist from haircare, to make up and of course skincare and so I thought I’d share some of them with you!
Shampoo L’Occitane – I have always loved L’Occitane’s beautifully scented moisturisers, but as I was scrolling through their website I noticed their hair care section and browsed some of the products. If you’ve seen my recent Sephora haul, I mentioned that this year I really wanted to start taking better care of my hair. A lot of drugstore shampoos contain ingredients that strip away your hairs natural oils, and my hairdresser pointed out that I wouldn’t put something like that on my skin, so why would I not treat my hair the same? I was really happy to see that L’Occitane have formulated their shampoo to be silicone free. As well as this, their repairing shampoo contains Vitamin B5 alongside five essential oils (ylang-ylang, sweet orange, lavender, geranium, angelia) which help to soften, repair and protect hair. I can’t wait to get this into my hair care routine!
350 Nature Glow Eyeshadow Palette Morphe – It seems like everyone in the beauty blogging industry has a Morphe palette… and I want one too. I really think that if I had to carry around only one palette, this would be it as it has all the shades I use most frequently. From cool toned shades to warmer shades, I think it would be quite easy to create both day time and more glam night time looks. There are 35 shades in this palette with a mixture of matte and shimmer shadows, and from what I have seen, they all look super pigmented and blendable. Not to mention this palette is only £21! No wonder it’s always sold out.
Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadows Stila – If you’ve seen the swatches for these, you will know exactly why these are on my list. One word: Stunning. If you’re a glitter fan like me you’ll love these liquid eyeshadows. Ever since I picked up the Urban Decay Liquid Eyeshadow, I’ve been wanting to try out some more. They’re a lot more pigmented than normal powder eyeshadow and I think they add a lot of depth and dimension to the look. As well as this, they’re slightly easier to apply and there is no eyeshadow fall out. There is such a lovely variety of colours to choose from so I can’t wait to pick a few up.
Retro Luxe Lip Kits Make Up Revolution – I really wanted to get my hands on the Kylie lip kits, but I really could not justify the price of them, knowing that I could probably find a cheaper alternative. I did like the idea of having lip kits though, and so I was excited to hear that Make Up Revolution have launched their own lip kits. Make Up Revolution are great at bringing out dupes for higher end products and so i’m really looking forward to trying them out. The shades aren’t the exact same as the Kylie lip kits but they do offer a good variety to choose from.
Brightening Boost Serum MonuPlus – If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know how important skincare is for me. This serum is something that I’ve tried before and I’d honestly love to repurchase. I’ve used a few serums over the past couple of years but I feel like this is the one that’s worked best for me. When I was using this, I saw a noticeable improvement in my acne scar reduction and the radiance of my skin. It’s slightly on the pricier side compared to some other more affordable serums that are available but it’s definitely got a place on my list.
Let me know if you’ve tried any of these products before. What’s on your beauty wishlist?
