On Monday I attended the Blogger Fashion Week event hosted by The Blogger Hangout. This was my second event run by them, and I can honestly say that I had the best time meeting new bloggers and interacting with brands, some of which were completely new to me.
This post is mainly going to focus on my favourite brands from the event. I was lucky enough to be gifted so many lovely products, which I’m so grateful for, but I won’t mention all of them as this post will be super long and I would like to do a more in depth review of all of them once I’ve had a chance to play around with them properly.
Thumbs Up Nails
One company I was so impressed by is Thumbs Up Nails who specialise in thumb wraps. I change my nail colour every week and sometimes it can be such a chore to take off the nail polish, repaint and wait to let them dry. Every single time I manage to ruin at least one nail in the process. I was able to try one of the nail wraps out and I couldn’t believe how quick and easy it was. There is also so many options to choose from.
My make up brush collection consists of mainly Real Techniques so I’m so excited to try something new. They are so trendy and sleek and honestly soo soft and all their brushes have such quirky names like ‘Got nothin’ to hide’ concealer brush or ‘on a powder trip’ brush. What I’m even more excited to try is the sponge because that’s something I reach for on a daily basis to do my foundation or even to do everything if I’m in a rush.
Kenneth Turner had the loveliest stand, and it smelt so beautiful as well! They specialise in a range of candles, home ware, lotions and room colognes which all smell gorgeous. If i’m being honest, I’ve never really been a candle person, I have the for decoration and not necessarily to burn but I liked all of these scents a lot because they were quite natural and fresh.
Skincare is something I pay a lot of attention to due to my problematic skin. The branding of this company is so pretty and professional and they have products which really appeal to me. These include things like the brightening boost and rosewood reviving mist. They have a colour coding system which helps identify skin types which I personally find useful, for example the orange skin care range is specifically for instant radiance and the light pink is for hydration. I’m actually really looking forward to trying these products out. They were also kind enough to give a 20% off coupon code for me to share with you guys: 613012 so check then out and let me know which products you want to try!
As I’ve mentioned this is just a really brief summary of my favourite brands from the event. Over time I will be doing individual reviews of the brands mentioned and even the ones which I haven’t included.
I want to give a special thank you to ALL the brands and especially The Bloggers Hangout for having me!
