Esqido Lashes have recently launched their new Gel Eyeliner pencils and they kindly sent me a black and brown shade to try. I have previously tried their eye lashes and lash glue (click here to see the post). I was so impressed by the products and brand, and so I had high expectations for these gel eyeliners.
The packaging is a slim pencil with a sharpener attached to the bottom and you can twist it to push more product up. The formula of these eyeliners are creamy and this helps the eyeliner to glide on smoothly. They are also pigmented and so you don’t need to build it up to get a good colour payoff. On a day to day basis I don’t usually wear eyeliner, but I like how natural the brown eyeliner makes my make up look. I do think this eyeliner is best used for the waterline or to smudge on the eyelid to create a softer look as the point isn’t thin enough to create a sharp wing.
In terms of longevity, the eyeliner lasts a full day without it smudging or fading away. This is a really important for me during a work day as there is nothing worse than having eyeliner transferred on your face. I also like that despite it being waterproof, it isn’t a hassle to take off at the end of the day.
Overall, I think Esqido have launched a really great new product and for a launch price of only $12 (roughly £9) I think it is worth the money.
