Inglot Haul

Inglot is brand that I’ve been wanting to try for a long time and when I was in Westfields, I came across the store and decided to pick up a few things.

The product I knew I wanted to try was the Inglot Gel Liner (#77) . I’ve always preferred gel liners over liquid or pencil and I’ve heard so many reviews about this particular eye liner that I knew it was a must have. I must admit I get a bit skeptical about ‘cult’ beauty products because they don’t always live up to my expectations, but this product didn’t disappoint. The formula is so creamy but it dries matte and it is so incredibly pigmented. I wear it to wear for 9 hour shifts and it lasts all day and is completely smudge proof, which is a must for me.

Of course with the eyeliner I needed a brand new eyeliner brush (not), but I loved the shape of the angled eyeliner brush (Make up Brush 30T) the make up artist in the store used on me. When I’m applying eyeliner, I sometimes can’t see what I’m doing, but with this angle brush, my hand is out the way. It has such a fine nib and is really easy to use; it’s perfect to create a winged liner and a great brush for people who struggle to create a sharp wing.

I also decided to pick up Fan brush (37R). Usually I just apply my highlighter brush with a blush brush or my finger (out of laziness), but I’ve been wanting to get a fan brush for my brush collection for a long time. I’ve seen so many in boots and superdrug, but the thing I liked about this fan brush is that it is relatively small and not dense.

I usually use the Rimmel Brow This Way Gel and Powder to fill in my brows, but I’ve been after something for a while that will help keep my brows in place. The Brow Shaping Mascara (in shade#3) comes with a small wand and applicator which I find really useful. I just lightly brush up wards throughout my brows and it gives my brows a nice finish without looking to gelled in place. The colour match is perfect for me, so on days where I just want to do really quick make up, I just use this without filling in my brows because it still makes my brows look more full.

So I’ve saved my favourite product till last and that is the Face and Body Illuminator (in shade #66). If you follow me on Twitter and Instagram, you’ll know I’m all about the glow. A lot of liquid highlighters i’ve tried in the past either end up looking really cakey on my skin, or when I blend it out, it just disappears. This is a really lightweight formula which blends nicely, giving the most beautiful glow, and because of this lovely formula, its also really nice to mix into foundations. I put it on underneath my foundation on the high points of my cheeks to give a more ‘natural radiant’ glow but it works just as well on top of foundations too.

So far, I’m really impressed with Inglot so far, I can’t wait to try other products from the brand! Are there any that you would recommend?

I’ve never tried any Inglot products before but the eyeliner sounds fab. I’ve always shied away from gel liners but I kind of want to give this one a try. Love the look of the angled brush as well, sounds like they work well together!
